Is there a player or do they download?
Both. The preview page embeds an inline player so the client can scrub through the cut immediately, and a separate download button returns the original file untouched if they want a local copy.
What about bigger videos?
Free links accept files up to 20 MB. A minute of 1080p usually lands well above that, so export a 720p review cut at a lower bitrate, or split the delivery into chapters and send one link per chapter.
Can the client forward the link?
Yes — links are unlisted but not password-protected, so anyone with the URL can open it. When the review window closes, use the delete button on the manage page and the link stops working immediately.
Will the video be re-encoded?
Never. We store and serve your exact file, so there is no second-generation compression, no dropped colour detail and no audio sync drift. What the client plays is what your editor exported.
How do I know the client watched it?
The manage page reports views, unique visitors and downloads per day, so you can tell the difference between a client who opened the delivery note and one who actually pressed play before the review call.
