Links expire in 3 days — bad for archives?
For a permanent archive, re-upload weekly and update the manage links, or upgrade the issues you want to keep online to Pro so they never expire. A hybrid works well: Pro for evergreen issues, free links for the latest one.
Markdown support?
Yes. Markdown files preview as rendered text with headings and lists intact, so an .md issue reads like a web page rather than raw source. PDFs render in the inline viewer instead.
Multiple issues at once?
Upload in batches and keep a list of manage links. Each issue gets its own URL and its own view counter, so you can see which back issues still attract readers months after publication.
Can subscribers read without logging in?
Yes. There is no login wall and no email gate — the link opens straight to the preview. That matters for an archive, where the whole point is letting new readers sample old issues.
Do I need web hosting?
No. Hosting a PDF archive normally means a CMS or a static site build. Here an issue is one uploaded file and one link, which you can paste into a landing page, a welcome email or a pinned social post.
